Sharks Ice at San Jose and the San Jose Jr. Sharks invite you to its 19th Annual Pacific District U.S. Regional Silver Stick® Tournament. Come spend your Thanksgiving Weekend playing hockey in beautiful San Jose, CA!
Our goal is to provide a positive tournament experience and great competition at various age divisions and levels. Games will start on Thanksgiving Day, with some local teams possibly playing Wednesday night.
The Silver Stick® International tournament is in its 66th year of hosting hockey tournaments across North America! Our Regional tournaments are unique in that if you are a Champion of the Division that you have competed in, this entitles you to the right to participate in an International Finals tournament, competing against other teams who had been successful in winning their Regional Qualifying tournament.

- Winners of each division advance to the International Finals in January 2025
- Tournament Entry Deadline - November 1st, 2024
- Games will conclude by 4:30pm Sunday.

- Mitey Mites Showcase 8U & 6U (see box below for special format)

- 12U A, BB, B
- 14U A, B
- 16U A
Winners in each division will advance to the Silver Stick® Finals. These locations are available on the Silver Stick® website.
Each year, after the International Silver Stick® Finals, a plaque is placed in the Hockey Hall of Fame’s Silver Stick display listing the team names of all the new champions!

2023 Silver Stick - San Jose Regional Schedule
Silver Stick schedule will be released two weeks before the first game.
Thanksgiving Mitey Mite & Mini-Mite Showdown
Friday, November 29 – Sunday, December 1
Open to 8U (Mite) & 6U (Mini-Mite) teams - House & Travel level
Team entry fee: $1,400
Registration deadline: Friday, November 1st.
Number of games: 9 guaranteed
Team managers will be notified of the schedule by the evening of Friday, November 22nd.
Round Robin games Friday, November 29th and Saturday, November 30th.
Championship & Consolation games on Sunday, December 1st.
Game format: Each game will be played as half-ice with 4 players per team, with a two minute warm-up and one 28-minute run-time period.
Included in the team fee are participation gifts for each player and Championship gifts for each member of the winning team.
All teams must have a USA Hockey-certified Mite or mini mite roster.
Only players and coaches on the roster will be allowed on the ice during games.
COAHES ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A HELMET WHEN ON THE ICE.

Team Rosters
Please submit your USA Hockey roster and link it to Morgan Stace at mstace@sharksice.com.
Be sure you identify the tournament name and your team in the file title (e.g. Silver Stick 2024 - San Jose Jr. Sharks 12A). Submit your roster URL and Team Code. The deadline for submission is November 1st.
Game Schedule & Results
Developed at Sharks Ice, Time-To-Score (TTS) is a real-time online Game Scoring System.
The entire schedule can be read by clicking on the tournament name. Team Schedule is available by clicking on your "Team Name". The division schedule is available by clicking on the "Division Name".
You can follow the action by clicking on the Game Number once the game has started. The game results are updated at each stoppage. You can also download the scoresheet for printing at the end of the game.

Lodging Accommodations
Please note the 2024 Silver Stick Tournament is a mandatory stay-and-play tournament. - There is an opt out fee available. Please contact Kolton Aubol (kaubol@sharksice.com).
Attention International Silver Stick Team Managers!
Please be advised that you will be receiving an email from RoomRoster to secure hotel accommodations for your team and answer team registration questions. Team Managers can create a courtesy hold at a Tournament Official Hotel and send a team-specific link to their team parents/guardians. Each team member will be able to reserve their individual room for the tournament and add themselves to the team.
