May 18-20 AA Boys
June 1-3 Boys Travel and ALL Girls Teams
Registration for tryouts will be open May 1.
The San Jose Jr. Sharks a proud to announce that Tyler Blanchard and Jack Cooper have signed a Tender with the Texas Brahmas in the NA3HL!
Blanchard and Cooper have been the cornerstone of the 18AA team all season. Blanchard led all of CAHA in scoring with 18 Goals and 42 Points. Cooper followed behind, finishing 3rd in CAHA with 12 Goals and 28 Points. Blanchard and Cooper also helped lead the 16AA team to the State Championship last season.
Blanchard plans to attend TCU in the fall and play for the Brahmas. While Cooper will attend a local Community College. Both players played their entire youth hockey with the Jr. Sharks! Blanchard played 11 years in Teal, while Cooper played 10!
The NA3HL is a Tier III junior hockey league with teams all over the country. The Brahmas are in the South Division and consistently send players to NCAA hockey and Tier II junior leagues. For more information on the Brahmas club, click here.

What is a tender?
A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders - plus or minus any trades - which become active on Nov. 1. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft.
19AA Girls Punch Ticket to USA Hockey Nationals!
The San Jose Jr. Sharks 19AA Girls team is headed to USA Hockey Nationals!
The Girls punched their ticket to Nationals, in Marlborough, MA, by winning the Pacific District Championship! This year, the Jr. Sharks hosted the Pacific District Championship March 6-9, and the 19AA Girls were able to defend their Pacific District Title! The Girls opened the tournament by beating the Anchorage North Stars 6-0 and Washington Wild 5-2 on Thursday. Friday morning they suffered a 5-1 loss to the Alaska All-Stars before bouncing back with a 5-0 win over the Seattle Lady Admirals Friday evening.
The Girls earned a spot in the Championship on Sunday by going 3-1 in round robin play. Setting up a rematch with the Alaska All-Stars, who finished 4-0 in round robin play.
In a rematch of last year's Pacific District Championship, the Jr. Sharks got on the board first when Evelyne Blais-Savoie scored a diving, one-handed goal. That would prove to be all the Jr. Sharks needed!
E. Blais-Savoie added 2 more goals and Angela Hawthorne stopped all 18 shots she faced and the Jr. Sharks skated away with a 3-0 and a birth in USA Hockey Nationals.
