Former Jr. Shark Cracks the NHL North American Central Scouting Rankings

Former Jr. Sharks defenseman, Philippe Blais-Savoie, is ranked No. 122 in the most recent Central Scouting North American rankings heading into the 2023 NHL Draft.

Blais-Savoie played his youth hockey career with the San Jose Jr. Sharks where he played through the 2021-2022 season. In his first season away from San Jose, Blais-Savoie recorded 2 goals and 8 assists in 59 games played with the Tri-City Storm in the USHL in 2022-2023.

While Blais-Savoie has committed to Colorado College, he will return to Tri-City for the 2023-2024 season.

Tri-City qualified for the 2023 playoffs with the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference. Tri-City will play their first playoff game on Monday, April 24th against Sioux City.

JSHL Summer Season Registration Open

Skills Evaluation Day is Saturday, May 13th

The JSHL Summer Season will begin on-ice on Saturday, May 13th and run through the middle of August. Registration is now open and available at the button link below. Summer season details and more information is available on the flyer below or by visiting our homepage, https://www.sjjrsharks.com/houseleague.

The first on-ice session for all participants will be a skills evaluation practice on Saturday, May 13th. Players will be quickly separated into summer season squads with practices beginning the week of May 15th-19th, and the season wrapping up in mid-August. The league fee is $675 (due at the time of registration) which includes a total of 26 ice slots (1 skills evaluation, 12 team practices, 13 game sessions and a jersey.
