The San Jose Jr. Sharks are proud to announce that Claire Peterson has committed to playing hockey at the University of Connecticut, which competes in the Hockey East conference at the NCAA Div I level. Claire is currently an assistant captain on the Girls 19AAA team and will be graduating from Valley Christian High School this coming spring.

Claire began with the Jr Sharks at the age of four and has played in the program for her entire youth career. She was a member of the 2017 Girls 19U Tier 2 National Championship team and the 2018 Girls 19U Tier 2 National Runner up team. Claire also attended the 2018 USA Hockey Girls National Development camp in St. Cloud, MN.
