The San Jose Jr. Sharks are proud to announce that 18AAA forward, Barak Braslavski, has signed an NAHL Tender Agreement with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs. The NAHL is the top Tier 2 Junior Hockey League in the United Stated. The NAHL Annually places 100+ players into NCAA Hockey.
Braslavski, 2001 birth year, started in the Jr. Sharks House League at the age of 4 and has played a majority of his youth hockey in San Jose. Despite leaving for a couple season, Braslavski returned to the Jr. Sharks this season. "This has been the best year of my youth career. As I returned home to the Jr. Sharks, I realized how much support and development I received from the coaches and organization. I learned that it is not necessary to leave home in order to achieve your goals and get more scouting. I'd like to thank all of my coaches especially my coaches this year, Matt Guffey and Mike Janda, for all the support and assistance they have provided me with, and for accepting me back into the organization. I'd also like to thank my family for providing me with everything I have needed in order to reach my goals," said Braslavski.
