The Jr. Sharks are proud to announce that Forward Ethan Stibich and Defensemen Jeffrey Lee both have advanced to USA Hockey Select Camp this summer.

Stibich and Lee both played on the Jr. Sharks 16AAA team last season for coach Mike Janda.

In order to be selected to attend the USA Hockey Select Camp, players are required to advance past NorCal Selects, CAHA Selects and Pacific District Selects. Lee, 2002 birth year, is one of 15 skaters to advance to National Camp from the entire Pacific District.. Stibich, 2000 birth year, is one of only 9 skaters to advance. The Pacific District is made up of players from California, Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Nevada and Hawaii.

USA Hockey Select Camp is a week long camp in Amherst, NY. Players will be evaluated by coaches from NCAA Schools, USHL, NAHL and NHL teams.

In addition to Stibich and Lee, Coach Mike Janda will make his third trip to Amherst to work with the best players and coaches the US has to offer. Janda has been to camp the last three summers and worked with multiple NHL Draft picks and NCAA players.

Congratulations to Jeffrey, Ethan and their families on this outstanding accomplishment. Make the Jr. Sharks and NorCal proud!
