The Jr. Sharks are excited to announce that two Jr. Sharks players were selected in the NAHL Draft this week.

Zak Galambos, '97, was drafted #2 overall by the Janesville Jets. Zak spent last season with the Johnstown Tomahawks (NAHL) and the Omaha Lancers (USHL). Janesville lost in the Championship of the NAHL Robertson Cup this past season and led the league in NCAA Commitments.

Will Donald, '99, was drafted in the 4th round by the Springfield Jr. Blues. Donald was Springfield's third pick in the draft, they did not have a pick in the 2nd round. Donald played 18AAA for the Jr. Sharks last season and led the team in scoring. He has played his last 3 seasons in the Jr. Sharks AAA program. Springfield, who is owned by San Jose resident Dan Ferguson, is in the North Division and was formerly led by the Jr. Sharks previous President, Tony Zasowski.

Donald joins Shawn Horner, New Hampshire Avalanche (EHL), from our 18AAA last season, to make junior commitments for next season.

Congratulations to WIll and Zak!
