San Jose Jr Sharks

The San Jose Jr. Sharks are proud to announce that Jr. Sharks coach John Beaulieu has been named the Pacific District Coach of the Year. Coach Beaulieu has been with the Jr. Sharks program since 2007 and has coached a variety of teams. John started at the travel level and has worked his way up to the AAA level.

Most recently John coached our 14AAA team. This season he will serve at the 14AA National Head Coach. John also helps organize and players a major role in the Select Camps in CAHA and at the Pacific District level.

"I am very happy for John and proud that he comes from the Jr. Sharks organization. As coaches, we don't always get recognition for our endless hours of work. John is a prime example of a coach who does it for the kids. He spends hours at the rink working with the team on the ice and in the video room. He goes out of his way to organize team events away from the rink and has respect from player and parents alike in our club. The Jr. Sharks strive to develop our coaches, just as we do our players. Congratulations to John and his wife on this award," said Director of Coaches Mike Janda.
