Congratulations to Jr Sharks Girls 16AAA goalie, Angela Hawthorne, for a great showing at the USA Hockey Girls Under-15 National Player Development Camp, July 17th-23th in St. Cloud, Minnesota. By camps end, Angela lead all goaltenders with a .957 Save Percentage and a 0.62 Goals Against Average.

Angela's journey to the National Camp began at the CAHA Select Camp and then proceeded on through the Pacific District Camp. The top players from the District level received invites to the National Camp. It was there where Angela competed with and proved herself against of some of the best players in the country at the Girls 15U level.

“We are so proud of Angela for making it to the USA Hockey National Camp. She had a great camp, finishing in the top group of goalies." said Jr Sharks Head Coach, Bobby Long. "We are looking forward to her continued success for the Girls 16AAA team for the upcoming season.”
