San Jose Jr Sharks

Congratulations to Jr Sharks alumna, Lexi Romanchuk, for being named captain of the Providence Friar's women's ice hockey team for the 2015-16 season. Lexi, a '94 birth year senior for the Friars, has 106 appearances on defense over her college career.

In addition to being named captain at the team's end of the year banquet, Lexi was also named the winner of the team's Unsung Hero Award for the 2014-15 season. She tied for the team-lead in defensive scoring on the year with two goals and seven assists.

During her summers, Lexi returns to San Jose and works at Sharks Ice as a staff coach and camp counselor for Sharks Summer Hockey Schools.

The Jr Sharks are very proud of Lexi for her accomplishments and wish her the best of luck to her and the Friars women's hockey team for the 2015-16 season!
