San Jose Jr Sharks

The Jr Sharks Squirt A team are Norcal Champions! They had a difficult road to the championship match, dropping the first two games. Going into the third and final round robin game, they knew that their chances were slim. But the team brought their A-game to earn a 5-1 win over the California Cougars, which lead to a three-way tie for second place. The Jr Sharks held the tie breaker, thus giving them a chance at redemption against the Tri-Valley Blue Devils in the championship. The Jr Sharks raised their level of play and with a 4-0 victory over the Blue Devils, they were crowned Norcal Champions.

The Jr Sharks and Blue Devils will both represent Norcal at the CAHA State Playoffs taking place March 27th-29th in Riverside, where the top two teams from the SCAHA Playoffs will round out the group of four.

Congratulations to Head Coach Curtis Brown, Assistant Coaches Ray Kellam, Ken Birdsall, Chris Marriott, Dragan Klipa and the entire team on a well deserved victory and best of luck at the CAHA State Playoffs in a couple of weeks!
