Jr Sharks Heading To Pacific District Select Camps

45 Players Moving On To The Next Level Of The Selects Process

The San Jose Jr. Sharks are proud to announce that 45 Jr. Sharks players were selected to attend Pacific District Camps this May and June

Jr. Sharks players from the 1998 birth year who moved on to the Pacific District camp included Evan Pace, Tyler Buchanan, Eamonn Miller, Egan Wolford, Noel Zuccaro and Mark Gaynor. Jake Acton is expected to receive an at-large bid to attend.

From the Jr. Sharks’ 1999 birth year, Michael Carranza, Chase Edwards, Matthew Durst, William Donald, Shawn Horner, Cameron Ward and William Shukait advanced. Jake Landers is also expected to attend but was not at CAHA Camp.

Players from the 2000 birth year group who advanced to the Pacific District camp included Ethan Stibich, Georgly Kozak, Harrison Scott, Joshua Harburn, Michell Rickert, Parker Hathaway, Reese Tuazon. Maxim Pivovarov and Cameron Khuong were alternates.

From the 2001 birth year, players who advanced included Barak Braslavski, Coalson Wolford, Spencer Light, Samuel Hakkarainen, Anthony Goldhawk, Grant Kawamoto and Bryan Pan.

The Jr. Sharks also had 14 players selected to participate in the Girls Multi-District Select Camp to be held June 13-18  in Colorado Springs, Colorado, showcasing top players from the Pacific, Rocky Mountain and Northern Plains districts.

Colleen Castro was named as an alternate to the 1998 birth year group. From the 1999 players, Morgan Tefft, Ally Stout and Sarah Takahashi were selected. The 2000 girls Jr. Sharks will be represented by Brooke Bryant, Angelina Cruzal, Leah Marino and alternates Kiley Searles, Juliette Blais-Savoie, Celine Long and Angela Hawthorne. Ally Thanassi and Maura McKeown were chosen from the 2001 players, and Claire Peterson was an alternate.

The Jr. Sharks would like to congratulate all the players who were selected to attend Pacific Districts Camps, as well as those who participated in the CAHA Select Camp.
