The San Jose Jr. Sharks are excited to announce that 18AAA players Eric Pinsky and Devin Cooley have been selected to participate in the 2015 NAPHL 18AAA All-Star Game.
Pinsky is currently second on the Jr Sharks 18AAA squad in scoring. Over the holiday break, the team ventured to Calgary, Alberta, Canada to play in the Mac’s Tournament, where Pinsky earned Player of the Game honors twice in four games.
Cooley is currently in the top 10 in the NAPHL in both Save Percentage and Goals Against Average. Earlier in the season, Cooley signed a tender with the Springfield Jr Blues of the NAHL.
“This is a great accomplishment and recognition for Eric and Devin. They have both worked hard in the off season and understand what it takes to be an elite hockey player. We couldn’t ask for two better players to represent our club in the All-Star Game,” said Player Advancement Coordinator Mike Janda.
Cooley has been with the Jr Sharks program since 2002, starting in the Jr Sharks House League. Pinsky joined the program in 2004. For more information and complete NAPHL All-Star rosters, please visit http://naphl.com/news/story.cfm?id=13431
