18AAA Player Suiting Up For The Brown Bears This Weekend

The San Jose Jr Sharks are excited to announce that 18AAA player, Ryan Meure, has been called up to play for the Kenai River Brown Bears of the NAHL this weekend. The Brown Bears travel to Wenatchee, WA, to play the Wenatchee Wild.

Meure, a ’97 birth year, is listed on the Brown Bears affiliate list and is eligible to play up to ten games for the Kenai River this season.

“Ryan has worked hard the past few seasons and has earned this opportunity with Kenai. He has exceptional speed and a great shot which make him a valuable commodity at the next level. We hope he has a good experience and gets a good taste of what the next level is like,” said Jr Sharks Player Advancement Coordinator, Mike Janda.

Meure, who tendered with Kenai last season but chose to stay home due to school obligations, will play Friday, Saturday and Sunday this weekend for the Brown Bears. To follow his results, check out www.nahl.com.

The Jr Sharks would like to wish Ryan best of luck this weekend!
