San Jose Jr Sharks

The San Jose Jr Sharks are proud to announce that former 18AAA Head Coach and Director of Coaches, Nate Weossner, accepted an assistant coaching position with the Des Moines Buccaneers of the USHL.

Coach Weossner came to the Jr Sharks in 2012 from an assistant coaching position at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. In his first year with the Jr Sharks, Coach Weossner led the 18AAA team to the Pacific District Championships, only to have his team earn a repeat trip the following year. In 2013, his 18AAA team finished runner-up in the CAHA State Tournament and won the NAPHL Silver Division Championship.

The Jr Sharks would like to extend a big THANK YOU to Coach Weossner for his hard work, countless hours and total dedication to the Jr Sharks program in his two years with the program. We wish him nothing but the best of luck with his new hockey endeavor in Des Moines.
