Jr Sharks To Participate In Willow Glen Founders Day Parade

Come represent the San Jose Jr. Sharks in the Willow Glen Founder’s Day Parade taking place on Saturday, September 20th, between 10am and 12pm. This hometown parade features marching bands, beautiful floats, horses, dancing, music and other fun activities.
Do you have Jr. Sharks pride? Are you a hotshot hockey player? Love to smile and wave to crowds? Then you would be a perfect parader!
Who: All Jr Sharks House, Girls and Boys players, parents and coaches
What: Different paraders (listed below) on a 0.8 mile route
Date: Saturday, September 20th
Time: Between 10am and 12pm (exact start and stop time will be announced two weeks before the parade)
The Jr Sharks are looking for the following volunteers/paraders:
- Rollerbladers (must wear protective gear and helmet)
- Walkers
- Hockey stick handlers to puck handling down Lincoln Ave
- Hockey passers to pass pucks down the route or maybe even play small area games along the way

Here is some updated information:
- Jr Sharks are Entry #47
- Staging area is on Lincoln Ave, between Paula St & Parkmoor Ave
- Please arrive no later than 9:50am as we need to check in at 10am with parade officials
- Lincoln Ave will close at 8:30am between Broadway and Coe
- Parking will be a challenge so carpool if possible
