Four Jr. Sharks Alumni Make NCAA Division III Commitments

More NCAA Success From Former Jr Sharks

The San Jose Jr. Sharks are proud to announce that four more Jr. Sharks Alumni are on the move and going to play college hockey at NCAA Division 3 schools next season!

Theo Tydingco, Dylan Vander Esch, Anthony Martinez and Mattia Bortolotto have all made college commitments for the fall of 2014!

Theo Tydingco will be attending Wesleyan College in Middleton, Connecticut. Theo played this past season for the Hartford Jr. Wolfpack in the Eastern Hockey League. Theo was a 2 time captain for the 18AAA team. 

Dylan Vander Esch will be attending SUNY Potsdam. The State University of New York at Potsdam is located in Potsdam, NY. Dylan played this past season for the Hartford Jr. Wolfpack in the Eastern Hockey League along side Theo.

Anthony Martinez will be attending Becker College located in Leicester and Worcester, MA. Anthony played this past season with the Alexandria Blizzard and the Minnesota Flying Aces. Both teams are in the NA3HL, a partner league with the NAPHL.

Mattia Bortolotto will be attending Worcester State University located in Worcester, MA. Mattia played this past season with the Lake Tahoe Blue in the Western States Hockey League.

All four players played their final season with the Jr. Sharks in 2011-12 with the 18AAA team, a team that finished in the runner-up position in the CAHA State Tournament.

The Jr. Sharks would like to congratulate all the players and their families and wish them the best of luck in the next step of their hockey careers!
