The San Jose Jr. Sharks are excited to announce 18AAA Goaltender Antonio Tarantino has signed with the North Iowa Bulls in the NA3HL.
Tarantino, who posted a .930 save percentage this season, led the 18AAA team to their first National Championship Tournament in club history, which included a State Championship and District Championship.
"Antonio came to Mason City and gave us the opportunity to see him first hand in our facility against proven junior players. He's a very athletic goaltender with a high compete level. We look for Antonio to challenge for a starting job with our team," said North Iowa Head Coach Todd Sanden.
Tarantino becomes the second 18AAA player to sign for the upcoming season.
North Iowa competes in the North American 3 Hockey League and is affiliated with the Amarillo Bulls of the NAHL. North Iowa was ranked #2 among Tier 3 programs in the United States and posted one of the best records in the NA3HL this past season and won the Central Division.
Congratulations to Antonio and the Tarantino family, best of luck is Mason!
