The San Jose Jr. Sharks are excited to announce that 18AAA Goaltender Ben Greenlee has signed with the Estevan Bruins in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL).
"Thank you to the coaching staff, my teammates and my family for helping me get to this point. The Jr. Sharks program has been great for my development and preparation for junior hockey. Not only was I able to develop physically on the ice but also mentally to prepare for the next level," said Greenlee.
Greenlee, a 2000 birth year, joined the Jr. Sharks program last year with the hopes of finding a junior hockey team to play for. He posted a 3.21 GAA and a .878 save percentage in 28 games played.
"Ben put in a lot of work on and off the ice this season. I am extremely proud of him for committing to his position and earning a spot at the next level. He is a great locker room guy and will contribute right away in Estevan," said Mike Janda, Director of Player Advancement.
