International Silver Stick 2016 San Jose Regional - Sanction NC-16-17-03

Solar4America Ice and the San Jose Jr Sharks invite you our 12th Annual Pacific District US Regional Silver Stick Tournament. Come spend the Thanksgiving Weekend in beautiful San Jose, California! Our goal is to provide a great tournament experience plus great competition at many age divisions and levels. Games will start Thanksgiving Day, and some local teams may play Wednesday night.


  • Four game guarantee
  • Silver Stick Team Championship Banners (1st Place)
  • Silver Stick Individual Championship Medals (1st Place)

  • Professional action photography will be on site
  • Teams are guaranteed 4 games plus a possible championship game.
  • Winners of each division advance to the International Finals in January 2017
  • Tournament Entry Deadline - October 31, 2016

Winners in each division will advance to the Silverstick Finals. These locations are available on the Silverstick website.


Game Schedule/Results

We have a Real Time Online Game Scoring System, called Time-To-Score (TTS), which was developed at Sharks Ice. You can follow action by clicking on the Game Number once the game has started. The game results are updated at each stoppage. You can also download the scoresheet for printing at the end of the game.   

The entire schedule can be read by clicking on the the tournament name. Team Schedule is available by clicking on your "Team Name". Division schedule is available by clicking on the "Division Name".

2016 Divisional Breakdown and Rules

High School Division II (5 Teams): 4 game round robin, top 2  advance to final

Bantam A (6 teams): 4 game round robin, top 2  advance to final

Bantam B (8 teams): two 4 team conferences  3 Game round robin, quarterfinals (1 green v 4 Silver, ext), then semi, then final

Peewee A (5 teams):  4 game round robin, top 2  advance to final

Peewee B (12 teams): two 6 team conferences, 4 game round robin, top 2 each conf advanced to semis ( 1 East v 2 West, ext), then final

Squirt A (4 teams): 3 game round robin, then semis, the final

Squirt B (14 teams):  two 7 team conferences, 4 game round robin, top 2 each conf advanced to semis ( 1 East v 2 West, ext ), then final

Mitey Mites: 8 30 minute round robin games, finals and consolation games Sunday

Sharks Ice Waiver

"Sharks Ice Waivers" are required for all players, coaches, and managers, even though your team may have previously signed the waivers for past events. Please prepare a new waiver for each coach, manager, and player. Indicate the tournament name as the event.

Team Rosters

Please fill in the spreadsheet and submit it to Inna Cantor at Make sure you identify your team in the file title (e.g. Jr. Sharks 12A).  Submit your rosters in upper and lower case type.  The deadline for submission is November 16. 


Friday November 25 – Sunday November 27

Open to Mite teams, House and Travel level

Team fee is $1095

Registration deadline is Wednesday 16th, at NOON

Team managers will be notified of schedule by the evening of Monday November 21st

Round Robin games Friday November 25 and Saturday November 26

Championship and Consolation games on Sunday November 27th

10 game guarantee per team
Each game consists of one 28 minute run time period,

Played 5 on 5, half ice with a 2 minute warm up

Included in the team fee are participation gifts for each player and Championship gifts for each member of the winning team

All teams must have a USA Hockey certified Mite roster

Only players and coaches on the roster will be allowed on the ice

Skills Competition - By Age Group. On Friday and Saturday come test your target and obstacle skills in the back parking lot. Everyone welcome for a chance at great prizes!

Photo Booth & Face Painting - Stop by on Friday for a tournament keepsake photo with some teammates. Then on Sunday, show your team pride with some face paint!

Please note the 2016 Silver Stick Tournament is a mandatory stay-and-play tournament.  

Attention International Silver Stick Team Managers!

Please be advised that you will be receiving an email from RoomRoster in order to secure hotel accommodations for your team and answer team/registration questions! Team Managers are able to create courtesy hold at a Tournament Official Hotel and then send out a team specific link to their team parents/guardians.  Each team member will be able to reserve their individual room for the tournament and add themselves to the team.
