Girls 16U & 19U See Success in Wisconsin

This past weekend the Jr Sharks Girls 16U and 19U teams attended the 2017 CAN/AM Challenge Cup Tournament in Madison, Wisconsin. Both teams had a very strong showing over the weekend.

The 16U team finished first after round robin play where they went undefeated with a 4-0 record and outscored their opponents 17-2. The team fell just short during the championship game, taking home the Silver Medal.

The 19U team went into the tournament with confidence after going undefeated, 6-0 in its home-hosted MLK Girls/Women's Tournament in January. In Wisconsin they completed the weekend with a 5-1 record and outscored their opponents 20-4. The girls won the championship game in decisive fashion beating the Omaha Lady Jr Lancers 6-1, ultimately taking home the Gold Medal for the 2017 Challenge Cup.

Congratulations girls on a great weekend!
