Joe Cassetti Commits to Boston College

The San Jose Jr. Sharks are excited to announce that former Jr. Sharks Forward Joey Cassetti has committed to play NCAA for Boston College.

Cassetti is currently playing for the USA National Development U17 Team. His team is comprised of 23 of the best players born in 1999. This season, Cassetti has 4 goals in the teams first 5 games.

Cassetti spent 3 season in the Jr. Sharks organization, including 3 of the most important years of his development. Following his Bantam Major season, Cassetti was drafted in the WHL Bantam Draft. If Cassetti were ever to play in the WHL, he would forfeit is NCAA eligibility. Cassetti is a product of the Jr. Sharks and their commitment to the USA Hockey American Development Model that focuses on skill development and creativity. 

"I can't say enough about the Jr. Sharks organization and what my teammates and coaches have done for me there. For the 3 years I played there, I made life long friends as well as developed into the player that I am today. Boston College is a place where I can grow to be the best player I can be and get a great education at the same time. I am privileged to go to my dream school," said Cassetti.
