San Jose Jr Sharks

Sharks Ice and the San Jose Jr Sharks are proud to announce that they will be hosting the 2016 USA Hockey Youth U16 & U18 Tier I National Championships. The event will take place March 31st thru April 4th, 2016. The USA Hockey Youth U14 Tier I event will be held in Anchorage, Alaska.

This will be the first time the USA Hockey Youth U16 & U18 Tier I National Championships will be held in the Pacific District.

“The USA Hockey National Championships being held in San Jose validates the growth of hockey in the Bay Area and California. Coupled with the Stadium Series this year and the AHL moving to the West Coast next season, California is becoming a focal point for hockey and especially youth hockey development. We are honored to host Nationals next season and we hope to have the opportunity again in the future,” said Curtis Brown, Director of the Jr. Sharks.
