The first weekend of November, the San Jose Jr. Sharks U16 girls competed in the Bauer Invitational in Rochester, New York. The team went 2-0-1 in round robin play and earned the first seed into the quarter final. With a convincing 7-0 quarterfinal win, the girls met up again with the Markham Stars (Toronto, Canada) in the Semifinal. The two teams battled to a 2-2 tie in round robin play and the semifinal game proved to be equally close and exciting. The Markham Stars prevailed 3-1 and went on to win the championship.
A very good showing by the U16 Jr. Sharks, going 3-1-1 for the weekend.
