It is the team manager's responsibility to ensure that your team has an official approved USA Hockey roster. Official rosters are extremely important when it comes to USA Hockey insurance coverage, liability and player eligibility. Feel free to reach out to me (boys’ registrar) for any information pertaining to your roster. 
 
Our registries will be opening within the next week which will allow me to begin building rosters. PLEASE NOTE: No coach or player can be on the ice or the bench with the team at any time during the season if they are not currently on a Jr. Sharks roster, unless otherwise approved by the club. 

 

 

Please submit the following information by AUGUST 2nd to CURTIS BROWN cbrown@sharksice.com and CC me minorhockeymama@gmail.com.  

Please ensure that the TEAM MANAGER and HEAD COACH are also CCed on the message. Please be sure that all email requests include the team name and “Proposed Roster” as the subject. (example: “Jr. Sharks 12AAA Proposed Roster”)

 
·         Player names & jersey numbers (USA Hockey numbers are NOT needed) — jersey numbers can be added at a later date if you do not have them at this point
·         Head Coach’s Information (Name, 2019-20 USA Hockey Number, CEP # and copy of SafeSport certification)
·         All Assistant Coach’s Information (Name, 2019-20 USA Hockey Number, CEP # and copy of SafeSport certification)
·         Team Manager’s Information (Name, 2019-20 USA Hockey Number, and copy of SafeSport certification)

Please note:
- Any roster changes during the season also must be submitted to and approved by Curtis Brown (CCing me).
- Once USA Hockey has officially approved your roster, a direct link to your roster will be sent to the HEAD COACH. (this link will remain the same throughout the season regardless of any changes made to the roster)

-  All team staff must have an up to date SafeSport certificate and Criminal Reference Check to be added to the roster.  If you are unsure of the status of yourself or another team official, please email me and I will check. (The system that has been used in past years is currently down but I have access to the information.)

- To minimize the delay in adding players who need to be transferred from another country or are new to the club to your roster, please be proactive in getting the required paperwork to me ASAP once I request it.
